We are pleased to offer affordable day trips and overnight all-inclusive 3 day/2 night trips into the Badger Two Medicine. You will delight either hiking in or riding by horseback to a backcountry camp where you will stay.
Wilderness backcountry is significant to the deep-rooted heritage of Blackfeet Native Americans. Located in the heart of Montana’s Rocky Mountain Front in the famed, Badger Two Medicine area with Glacier National Park to the north and the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex to the west and south, the Badger-Two Medicine’s rich habitat provides a sanctuary for grizzly bears, wolves, mountain goats, pure cutthroat trout, and wolverines.
The Badger-Two Medicine is a designated Traditional Cultural District under the National Historic Preservation Act because of its rich significance to the Blackfeet Nation.

Multi-Day Backcountry Adventure
3 days, 2 nights
This premium adventure includes 3 days and 2 nights of cultural insight into the history and homelands of the Blackfeet Indians in the Badger Two Medicine area. Experience breathtaking views of our mountains and prairies with guided study of flora and fauna of our ancient indigenous country. Ride in by horseback or hike into the backcountry. Sleep safe and comfortably in tents and tipis with healthy delicious food prepared by our native camp chefs. We will provide tipis, camping gear (cots, sleeping bags with sanitary and laundered bag liners, pillow cases, pit toilet facilities, etc.), fishing gear, and horses. Bring your personal items and fishing license. Hikers, we will pack in your gear and pack it out. Exceptional hearty and nutritious meals will be prepared fresh daily with strict sanitary food handling to avoid germ contamination and spoilage. We will accommodate any dietary requests.

Learn from certified interpretive guides the Native names of the mountains and valleys, learn the flora and the fauna, and learn the relationship of the Blackfeet Nation’s ties to the Badger Two Medicine creation stories. Cultural History
For more than 10,000 years the Badger-Two Medicine, sacred to the spirituality and identity of the Blackfeet Tribe, includes a 130,000 acre expanse of a rich habitat of mountains, rivers, ridges, and wetlands for wildlife and fauna. The Badger-Two Medicine provided a place of worship for the Blackfeet people. Oral stories of creation, passed on from generation-to generation, originated in the Badger-Two Medicine. The Badger-Two Medicine derives its name because it is the headwaters two rivers, the Badger and the Two Medicine that feed into the Blackfeet Reservation and the northern plains of Montana.
